Kick in teeth

Got a mass email from the senior vice president of hr. No raises for anyone this year. Why do I bother working so hard. I wish I could tell the grocery store that they can not raise their prices for a year. I know I am luck to have a job. But still when you do not even get a meeting. A bit low.
